The subterranean termite is a common pest that destroys houses and other buildings in the United States. These termites are subterranean, which means they feed underground. They tend to swarm when moisture levels in an area is high. This can happen when the soil is in a state of drought or when there has been flooding. Subterranean termite has been discovered in almost every state in the U.S., excepting Alaska.

Subterranean termites usually do not cause any serious harm to structures. However, it can cause significant damage to the contents of a building once swarms have started to settle down. Subterranean termite infestation is often preceded by several signs or symptoms. Common signs include woodpecker noises, small holes, or some type of wood noise resembling the chirping of birds.

What does termites damage look like

The other major symptom is the presence of termite wings. A swarm of termites with a new colony of termite wings is the best way to determine whether or not an infestation has occurred. It is essential to find a new colony before swarms arrive. This is because if a new colony arrives before the older colony, the older one will eventually perish.

The best way to detect termite activity is by conducting a thorough inspection of the entire premises. For this, you will need professional equipment such as a gas camera, flashlight with ultraviolet illumination, radio scanner, metal detectors, traps, and borescope. Once you have detected the signs of Subterranean Termites, you should conduct a thorough inspection of your house cells, especially the basement. The entrance and exit points of the house should also be thoroughly checked.

It is recommended that in the detection of Subterranean Termites, you should first conduct a regular Subterranean Termite Treatment so that infestation can be prevented. Subterranean Termite Treatments are available from companies specializing in termite treatment. Some of the common Subterranean Termite Treatments are Dry Termite Treatments, Subterranean Fumigation, and the use of Chemicals. Each of these methods has different effects on the environment and may prove to be hazardous. Hence, it is advisable to consult your local government agencies before deciding on the treatment method to be used.

There are many termite control methods available for the elimination of Subterranean Termites. The most popular termite control method is the termite baiting system. Baiting is done by releasing specially formulated baits into the ground below the area of suspected termite colonies. The bait, which contains termiticides, is left on the ground for an extended period of time. Once the bait becomes stale, the ants will dig it out of the ground and the Termite Control Company will come and spray it over the affected areas. This process may take some time and is quite expensive.

Another popular termite control method is the use of underground cameras. These cameras can detect the presence of termites using their polarized lens. If the camera detects termite colonies underground, a red dot is given on the screen so that you know where the colony is located.

It is advisable to prevent Subterranean Termites from getting into your house by making sure that there is no damage on your property. Termites, due to their fast growth and vulnerability, can easily cause extensive damage to your property. However, if you find that there are Subterranean Termites in your house, you must contact a professional pest control company as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your property and to prevent further harm to humans as well. By using the methods listed above, you can easily rid yourself of these pests.

Other signs that your house has Subterranean termite infestation are termite droppings and signs of tunneling. The usual signs of termite infestation are mud tunnels, wood destruction, and tiny cracks in the wood. Mud tunnels are formed when termites move through the soil. Wood destruction is an obvious sign of Subterranean termite infestation. Termites often create holes in wood – the end result of which is a visible difference in the quality of the wood. Tiny cracks in the wood may appear like spider webs.

Treatment for Subterranean termites starts with the detection of their location. The best way to detect the location of Subterranean termites is to set up a sensitive camera trap. Once the camera trap’s lens is exposed to light, it will automatically transmit photos of the area surrounding the suspected termites.

If you have noticed signs of Subterranean termites, you need to act fast before the problem gets out of control. This means that you must immediately do something about the moisture problem. First, make sure that there is no standing water in your house. You should also make sure that there are no leaks in your plumbing system or in your roof.
